The Google AI Educator Series offers bite‑sized, 15‑minute training sessions for educators and has introduced pathways to earn academic credit. Through a partnership with College Unbound, participants can obtain fully accredited undergraduate credits at no cost, which may count toward a bachelor's degree or be converted to CEUs. A separate collaboration with ISTE and Dominican University allows educators to convert their new AI skills into fully accredited graduate‑level credits. Additionally, Illinois educators and administrators can earn continuing‑education hours toward license renewal via the Illinois Digital Educators Alliance.
Credit earning begins with the Google AI Educator Series Badge‑a‑thon, a flexible, drop‑in 12‑hour webinar on September 19. Attendees can watch live educator demos, learn time‑saving tricks and earn ISTE‑aligned digital badges. Registration is available at goo.gle/GESBadgeathon.
