Google announced a statewide partnership with the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education and the Department of Higher Education and Workforce Development. The collaboration gives nearly 100,000 teachers and more than 1.1 million K‑12 and college students free access to Google’s enterprise‑grade AI tools, curriculum and industry‑recognized certificates.

Resources include Gemini for Education and Gemini Notebook, the free Google AI Educator Series, and Google AI Professional and Career Certificates covering fields such as cybersecurity, data analytics and IT support. Data in Gemini for Education is kept private and is not used to train Google models, and adoption of the tools is voluntary for each school or institution. All state residents can also obtain the certificates at no cost through local Missouri Job Centers.
